A new piano had arrived!

Published November 30, 2008 by lunalunaz

I had ordered a piano through internet and it had arrived a few days ago.
Since then my daughter has been playing it a lot.

I used to take piano lessons while in elementary school.
It seems like my fingers do remember the music I have learned from the lessons.
In Japanese, we say this "hands remember".

It is just amazing after many years I still can play some music…..

My daughter made a New York Cheese Cake for the first time in her life.
I suppose she did this because she likes it very much but I hardly buy it for her.

I didn't know this, but NEW YORK cheese cake means very rich in cream cheese.
It was rich but very tasty!

Frank McCourt

I am reading this book and almost finishing it.
It is about a story of Frank McCourt himself.
Sometimes it is amazing how poor he had been back in Ireland and early days in NY.
I sometimes tell my daughter about it and she can not believe it.
(about the potato being stolen from their land)
Also stealing electricity from his neighbor (well not exactly, his neighbor let him do it!) is almost comical.

Nothing too dramatic really happens in this book, but I do enjoy reading it.
